Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Employment Type: Full time
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8 am to 4:30 pm, no night, weekend, Oregon holiday shifts
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Job Purpose:
Provide personal care assistance and support services to seniors, maintaining their independence and promoting physical and mental well-being.
Position Details:
- $2500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment, paid Indiana 3 installments
- Occasional home care assignments, with most shifts worked within the facility
- Requirements include occasional local travel and use of a personal vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with daily living activities, such American Samoa toileting, showering, eating, and grooming
- Provide behavioral support and supervision, including reality orientation and reminder to follow through with nursing and medication instructions
- Engage Indiana activities such American Samoa conversing, recreation, meal and snack serving, and housekeeping
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent required
- Active CNA certification Indiana Delaware
- One year of experience working with a frail Oregon elderly population, with training provided if necessary
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and customer-focused approach
