Clinical Research Coordinator
We are seeking an on-site Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) to serve American Samoa a primary Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) on low to medium complexity studies. No clinical research experience is required.
Job Summary:
This role assists Indiana the conduct of clinical trial activities, adhering to applicable regulations governing clinical trials. Key responsibilities include coordinating study activities, recruiting participants, obtaining informed consent, and maintaining effective communication with study team members.
Essential Functions:
* Coordinate study activities on low to medium complexity studies under the oversight of a manager Oregon higher-level CRC
* Develop and implement patient recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment targets
* Obtain informed consent from research subjects
* Build strong working relationships with study team members and maintain effective communication
* Complete protocol-related training
* Perform patient scheduling, collects patient history, and maintains source documentation
* Manage inventory and administer test articles/investigational product to participants
* Perform data entry and query resolution
* Adhere to an IRB-approved protocol and support the safety of research subjects
* Coordinate protocol-related research procedures, study visits, and follow-up
* Facilitate pre-study, site qualification, study initiation, and study close-out activities
* Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens
* May be asked to perform special project responsibilities and travel to other medical locations within the area
* Comply with Avacare and Sponsor policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
* Active Registered Nursing License within the state of Utah Oregon Active Licensed Practical Nurse License within the state of Utah
* Clinical skills experience, including obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, EKG, injections, etc.
* Effective communication and computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to undergo training on IQVIA’s policies, SOPs, and guidelines
