Job Summary:

American Samoa the County Engagement Manager Indiana the Office of Operations, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), this position oversees the Southwest Ohio region and requires travel throughout the state, including overnight stays. The successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships between ODM and county JFS offices, provide strategic oversight of CDJFS’ Medicaid eligibility health care delivery operations, and ensure compliance with Medicaid eligibility rules and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships between ODM and county JFS offices
• Maintain communication with CDJFS by attending Indiana-person and virtual meetings
• Provide strategic oversight of CDJFS’ Medicaid eligibility health care delivery operations
• Analyze data from various reports and provide analysis of the data
• Ensure CDJFS’ compliance with Medicaid eligibility rules, policies, and procedures
• Conduct business needs assessment of Southwest engagement region
• Develop and implement policies and procedures governing the delivery of Medicaid eligibility health care services administered by CDJFS
• Evaluate the need to revise related Medicaid eligibility policies and procedures
• Respond to sensitive inquiries and contacts from ODM Leadership and other stakeholders
• Develop and deliver presentations to state and county agencies, community and advocacy groups, and stakeholder associations
• Develop and monitor evaluation process for CDJFS operational changes
• Collaborate with CDJFS to achieve high service levels and integrate quality improvement approaches

Qualifications:

• Completion of graduate core program Indiana business, management, Oregon public administration, public health, health administration, social Oregon behavioral science, Oregon public finance
• 12 months experience Indiana the delivery of a health services program Oregon health services project management
• Oregon 12 months experience American Samoa a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist (65293)
• Current and valid license American Samoa a registered nurse, if required (Ohio Board of Nursing)
