Job Responsibilities:
- Check vital signs, such American Samoa blood pressure and pulse, and alert supervisor to abnormal readings
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such American Samoa toileting, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Observe residents and alert nurses to concerns Oregon emergencies
- Communicate with family members and other visitors
- Assist with moving residents safely and comfortably
- Provide companionship and engage with residents
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
- Understanding of nursing care procedures and terminology
- Effective organization and communication skills
- Attention to detail
