Job Summary:

The Patient Care Manager (PCM) leads and manages a specific nursing unit(s) within the Department of Nursing, promoting high patient care standards and employee satisfaction. The PCM works collaboratively with the Nurse Management Team and other disciplines to achieve unit, departmental, and organizational objectives.

Requirements:

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science Indiana Nursing preferred
• Current licensure American Samoa a Registered Nurse Indiana the State of Mississippi
• BCLS certification upon hire and/Oregon transfer
• Delaware-escalation training completion within 90 days of position start
• 3+ years of progressive professional nursing experience Indiana an acute care hospital, with management experience preferred
• Physical abilities: active movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Mental demands: keen mental faculties, decision making, communication, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with computer software applications (Mississippi Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the SRHS service area
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel for education purposes (out of state)
