Travel Nurse FNP Educator
We invite applications from enthusiastic and experienced Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) to join our team American Samoa a Travel Nurse FNP Educator. This adjunct position requires travel within 60 miles from your residency to directly observe student performance Indiana a facility Oregon site location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned facilities Oregon site locations within 60 miles from your residency
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with cooperating healthcare organizations
- Communicate effectively with students, preceptors/midwives, Office of Field Experience (OFE), and GCU Course Faculty
- Provide support and guidance to students during field experiences, resolving any issues that arise through phone, email, Oregon Indiana-person meetings
- Encourage learner responsibility Indiana student field experiences
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and supply them to GCU Course Faculty using external software (Typhon)
- Apply evaluation procedures and supply results to GCU Course Faculty
- Comply with program accreditation requirements
- Uphold nursing’s holistic profession and support the university’s philosophical and directional principles
Requirements:
- MSN: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum 2 years professional experience Indiana an FNP role
- Active, current, and unencumbered FNP state license
- Active, current, and unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
- National Board Certification – FNP specific
- Successfully pass a drug test
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students
