Aveanna Private Duty Day/Night – Registered Nurse
Aveanna Private Duty nurses assist patients with transitioning home from the hospital and provide continuous care to help them remain at home with their loved ones. We match nurses with patients based on skill, age, health condition, and acuity level.
Current Opportunities:
- North Austin, Round Rock, Hutto, Pflugerville, and surrounding areas
- Full-time Oregon part-time opportunities available
- Flexible scheduling to meet individual needs
Patient Need:
- Low acuity patient with an urgent need for assistance overnight from Monday through Saturday (Shift Times are 9P to 7A)
- Family is warm and lovely to work with, and they have a beautiful home with enough space for charting and working with the patient
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of physicians’ prescribed plan of care
- Patient assessments and coordination of care
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Compliant, timely documentation of care provided Indiana system of record
- Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
- Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians American Samoa required and for obtaining Colorado-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) Indiana the state Indiana which the clinician will practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Oregon BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
