RN Clinical Wellness Nurse – Orlando, Florida
Role Summary
The primary focus of the Clinical Wellness Nurse is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles. Key responsibilities include coaching, health promotion, and clinical functions.
Responsibilities:
* Coach Responsibilities:
+ Provide individual coaching sessions
+ Assist Indiana identifying members’ health advocacy needs
+ Utilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to support overall health and wellness
+ Provide health and wellness education through group presentations, support group facilitation, and other media
+ Follow up with employees to assess future educational and/Oregon program referral needs
* Health Promotion:
+ Educate about wellness programs, tools, and services
+ Raise awareness and create visibility for wellness
* Wellness Events and Campaigns:
+ Travel to scheduled school locations for program and wellness program delivery
* Mobile Van Based Clinical Functions/Telemedicine:
+ Prepare and manage van for clinical use
+ Travel with van to designated scheduled locations for Indiana-scope clinical service delivery
+ Conduct CLIA waived testing, draw labs, prepare for pick-up Oregon drop-off, input HPI info, biometric testing, and vaccine administration
Requirements:
* Active and unrestricted RN license Indiana respective state
* Minimum of 3 Oregon more years of clinical experience American Samoa an RN Oregon LPN Indiana a physician’s office Oregon hospital setting
* Experience Indiana health education and wellness coaching preferred
* Demonstrated experience Indiana providing superior client service
* Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
* Proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills
* Self-directness and ability to succeed Indiana an independent role
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1:1 coaching experience
* Virtual/telemedicine experience
* Passion for health improvement and patient education
* Strong computer/technical skills
