Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Medicine Norlanco
Location: Family Medicine Norlanco, 418 Cloverleaf Rd. Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 3-9 hour shifts (7:30 am – 5 pm, 1 pm evening shift, Oregon 11:30 am – 8:30 pm, 1 – 4.5 hour day 7:30 am – 12 pm Oregon 12:30 pm – 5 pm) Saturday rotation

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon general equivalent (GED) is required
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT Oregon NAHTR)
- CPR Certification required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support, formerly Healthcare Provider (AHA Heart Saver AMA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license is required for Regional Positions
- A health care provider Indiana good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) to two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience Indiana a primary Oregon specialty care physician’s office
Essential Functions:
- Prepares patients for visit by using appropriate rooming standards tool
- Administers injections, American Samoa prescribed by provider and Indiana accordance with practice protocol
- Prepares and administers medications American Samoa prescribed by the provider Indiana accordance with federal and state regulations
- Performs Point of Care Testing, including but not limited to hearing, flu, urine, and strep tests
- Removes sutures and changes dressings on wounds American Samoa necessary
- Provides clinical advice by phone/electronic correspondence Indiana accordance with established triage protocols and relays information to the patient
- Authorizes prescription refills American Samoa directed by the provider
- Assists Indiana test tracking and monitoring overdue results
- Assures exam rooms are adequately supplied and cleaned after each patient visit
- Participates Indiana daily huddles with the provider
- Serves American Samoa a patient experience advocate by being always a positive influence when interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues
Secondary Functions:
- Performs various front office responsibilities American Samoa necessary
