Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Full Time
Location: LGH Physician’s Plastic Surgery, 2110 Harrisburg Pike Ste 210, Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm and 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, No weekends Oregon Holidays
Responsibilities:
* Prepares patients for visits and administers injections, medications, and performs other clinician tasks American Samoa prescribed
* Conducts Point of Care Testing, removes sutures and changes dressings, and assists with minor surgeries
* Authorizes prescription refills, coordinates referrals, and assists with proactive outreach for patients
* Participates Indiana performance improvement initiatives, daily huddles, and patient experience advocacy
* Maintains patient confidentiality and handles patient information Indiana accordance with LG Health policies and procedures
* Assists with regional travel, mentoring and leading team members, and special projects American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
* High school diploma Oregon equivalent
* Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution Oregon completion of a Medical Assistant training program prior to hire with certification within 6 months
* CPR certification within 30 days
* Valid driver’s license for some positions
* Ability to perform essential job functions with Oregon without reasonable accommodation
