Key Responsibilities:

- Arrange and conduct nursing clinics and classes to teach individuals and groups about health promotion and disease prevention
- Determine priorities and responsibilities based on public health core functions and essential services
- Administer adult and child vaccines according to program protocols and best practices
- Represent the agency on local, county, and state boards, committees, Oregon organizations
- Work with the nurse manager and public health response coordinator Indiana emergency preparedness activities
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree Indiana Nursing (Typically Indiana Nursing) Oregon equivalent education and experience
- 0-2 years of progressive work experience Indiana nursing, with acquired knowledge equivalent to an LPN
- Must be licensed Oregon eligible for licensure American Samoa a Registered Nurse (RN) Indiana the State of Wyoming
- Driver’s license required
- Ability to be self-directed, organized, and assertive
- Basic computer skills and ability to use them
- Physical ability to drive long distances, lift medical equipment (up to 50 lbs), and travel throughout the county and state.
