Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care for outpatient patients of all ages with diverse medical and nursing diagnoses. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Obtaining patient history and family history
- Performing quality control checks and operator maintenance for patient care equipment
- Assisting Indiana identifying patient needs and implementing the plan of care
- Documenting care given and patient response Indiana the medical record
- Preparing patients for physical examination
- Communicating pertinent patient data to providers
- Recognizing emergency situations and initiating resuscitative measures
- Conducting prescribed nurse-initiated, nurse practitioner, and physician orders and documenting Indiana the patient medical record
- Assisting with patient and family education regarding prescribed medications, therapies, and diagnostic procedures
- Participating Indiana monitoring quality of care according to professional standards and established procedures
Requirements:
- Education: Completed a program Indiana practical nursing of at least 9 months’ duration combined with 1 year of nursing assistant experience, Oregon successful completion of a 2-year degree Indiana practical nursing
