Job Summary:
/providers direct and indirect nursing care Indiana an outpatient setting, orienting and serving American Samoa a resource to LPNs. Reviews medical records, prepares orders, and administers treatments American Samoa prescribed by practitioners. Implements basic nursing procedures, documents care, and notifies patients of normal test results. Participates Indiana orientation of new personnel and serves American Samoa a resource to LPNs and unlicensed personnel.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Reviews and prepares medical records, initiates follow-up, and identifies patient needs
• Implements basic nursing procedures, administers treatments, and prepares medications American Samoa prescribed
• Documents implementation of orders, records patient responses, and reports unexpected responses to RNs Oregon practitioners
• Collaborates with RNs and practitioners to revise care plans, participates Indiana staff meetings, and coordinates projects
• Assigns basic nursing tasks to unlicensed personnel, provides clear directions, and acts American Samoa a resource person
• Manages patient vaccine data, including updating immunization registries, storing and administering vaccines, and facilitating inventory control
• Trains new and existing LPNs on emergency vaccine storage procedures and serves American Samoa a liaison with the state to coordinate vaccine inventory
• Participates Indiana ensuring compliance with infection control policies and protocols and follows medication administration, storage procedures, and VFC program guidelines
Basic Qualifications:
• 12 months of LPN experience
• Hawaii State Board of Nursing-approved curriculum for LPN licensure
• Licensed Practical Nurse (Hawaii) at hire
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
Additional Requirements:
• Demonstrated knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and written communication
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Mathematical ability, attention to detail, concentration, and alertness
