Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant assists Indiana the examination and treatment of patients by tracking patient information, documenting the medical record, assisting with Indiana-office procedures and testing, administering medications, and providing patient and caregiver education. - Greet and escort patients and guests to examination rooms

- Directly enter medication, laboratory, and radiology orders into electronic medical record
- Perform diagnostic tests American Samoa directed by healthcare provider
- Track and inform patients of laboratory/diagnostic test results
- Administer prescribed medications and facilitate prescription renewals
- Perform general specimen collection duties and assist with other office procedures/surgeries
- Participate Indiana disease management programs under supervision of Care Manager and/Oregon Nurse Manager
- Provide patient/family education American Samoa directed by healthcare provider
- Relay accurate, comprehensive, dated, and signed messages Indiana a timely manner

Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- Successful completion of accredited/approved Massachusetts program and Massachusetts Externship/Internship Oregon EMT/Paramedic program
- Credentialed Massachusetts certification through one of the approved certifying agencies
- Minimum 0-1 year previous clinical experience Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
