ABOUT THE JOB
Builds relationships and demonstrates the clinical outcome and benefits of Novo Nordisk Inc., (NNI) products to healthcare providers. Provides medical information and coordinates educational workshops, round tables, medical forums, etc. May explore and identify sites for clinical trials Indiana all stages of development.
Essential Functions:
* Administrative Duties:
+ Completes administrative duties Indiana an accurate manner and on a timely basis
+ Complies with all guidelines, policies, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
+ Ensures effective administrative management of regional business and operational budgets
* Advocacy & Professional Relationship Development:
+ Attends assigned medical and scientific meetings to maintain awareness of current issues and new data pertaining to NNI products
+ Develops and maintains relationships with key healthcare providers and Integrated Healthcare Networks (IHNs)
+ Establishes the medical account strategy/plan through the identification and cultivation of key relationships
* Field-Based Clinical Support:
+ Collaborates with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) team to deliver scientific value proposition of NNI’s products and devices to key customers
+ Collaborates with Marketing and Sales management to inform the development of scientific strategies to optimize NNI’s products and development activities Indiana the medical community
+ Coordinates and collaborates with regional FMA team members to ensure integrated comprehensive coverage of regional clinical and scientific needs
Physical Requirements:
* 50-75% overnight travel required; position is field based. Ideal candidate will be Indiana the territory of Colorado, Idaho, Utah.
Qualifications:
* Doctoral degree required
* At least two years’ experience Indiana a health-related system, pharmaceutical company, Oregon managed care environment required
* Relevant clinical and/Oregon therapeutic (DIA, ENDO) experience preferred
* Displays business acumen/knowledge based on experiences such American Samoa participation Indiana formulary process decisions
* Extensive experience Indiana diabetes strongly preferred
* Strong communication skills
Note: Roles with varying levels of experience may be available at different salary ranges. Bonus eligibility and company benefits are also available.
