Travel Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Nurse Home Visitor
Job Description:
Summary: The NFP Nurse Home Visitor provides comprehensive nursing services to women and their families eligible for the NFP Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visit expectant parents and their families Indiana their home Oregon community location to share resources, perform health checks, and provide guidance
- Work with families to identify their strengths and skills American Samoa parents
- Manage a caseload of 25-30 clients
- Provide maternal health services, support, and education to families
- Participate Indiana extensive model training and ongoing reflective supervision with site supervisors
Requirements:
- RN with a BSN degree and current Delaware license
- Experience Indiana public health, community, and/Oregon maternal-child health
- Current CPR certification
- Home visiting experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills desirable
- Valid driver’s license that meets the agency’s insurance carrier requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa a member of a team
- Experience with computers and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of community resources
- Valid driver’s license
