We are seeking a highly skilled ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Oregon Trauma Nurse to join our team American Samoa a Donation Coordinator.

Job Description

We are looking for a self-assured professional with keen clinical assessment skills to join our team. American Samoa a Donation Coordinator, you will respond on-site to organ donor referrals to provide clinical expertise Indiana donor evaluation, donor management, organ allocation, and organ recovery. You will educate hospital staff on the donation process, work with donor families to obtain consent, and work with multiple surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation.

Schedule

  • Orientation: Completion of a week-long onsite orientation and 3-week specialized organ donation training program
  • Work schedule: 14 shifts per 4-week schedule, including 12-hour day and 12-hour night shifts, with significant travel throughout New England (mileage and other reimbursements available)

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably Indiana critical care Oregon trauma, with medical/clinical credentials
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Critical thinking skills, keen clinical assessment skills, and conflict resolution skills
  • Compassionate, with a great work ethic and forward-thinking mindset
