Patient Care Associate – Full-Time Nights

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) is responsible for providing basic care to patients Indiana accordance with established guidelines and the plan of care set by a Registered Nurse Oregon LPN. The PCA works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse Oregon LPN to ensure patients receive quality care that adheres to ADC guidelines and Singing River Health System’s departments of nursing policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Execute established care plans developed by a Registered Nurse Oregon LPN
• Utilize infection control guidelines from the CDC
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Adhere to all SRHS policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

• Current certification American Samoa a Nurse Assistant (CNA) Oregon equivalent required, preferably through the Mississippi Department of Health
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance required
• Completion of a Nurse Aide program Oregon equivalent experience
• Ability to navigate workforce management systems and perform basic computer tasks
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team Indiana a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and off-days
• Ability to lift, carry, and move patients, equipment, and supplies
