Patient Care Technician – Emory Johns Creek Hospital

7pm – 7:30am/PRN

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a Patient Care Technician who is a certified technician with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/Oregon LPN, including cleaning patient rooms, operating clinical equipment, and assisting with emergencies and patient procedures.
• Maintain hospital and unit-specific competencies.
• Assist Indiana emergency situations American Samoa directed by an RN/LPN.
• Ensure prescribed measures related to hygiene, comfort, and rest are provided.
• Comply with Standard Precautions guidelines, Infection Control procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with use of medical equipment, including oxygen, suction equipment, and bedside glucose monitoring machines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma Oregon equivalent
• BLS certification
• One year of direct patient care experience, completion of a nursing assistant training course, CNA license, Oregon current enrollment Indiana a nursing program with completion of 2 clinical rotations.
