Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients Indiana the home setting with a specialization Indiana pediatrics. We offer a flexible schedule, manageable 1:1 caseloads, and a competitive starting rate of $28/hour.

Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care Indiana compliance with physician orders
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care
- Participate, implement, and update the nursing care plan
- Recognize changes Indiana patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk Oregon reduce risk
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and the patient according to OSHA standards
- Educate the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license American Samoa a Licensed Nurse Indiana the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency Indiana clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Additional state specific requirements:
- South Carolina – One (1) year of pediatrics experience
- California – One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license
- Louisiana – One (1) year of experience required working American Samoa a licensed nurse
Preferences:
- Six (6) months of recent experience American Samoa a Licensed Nurse Indiana a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
