Travel Nurse – Quality Assurance (EA-913)
Job Overview
Join our team American Samoa a Travel Nurse – Quality Assurance and provide regional support for our Florida facilities. This role requires strong analytical skills and will involve traveling between facilities Indiana Graceville, Panama City, and Quincy, Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey health-related areas of the facility for compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and interpretations
- Supervise the continuous quality improvement (CQI) Committee and quarterly mental health meeting
- Review reports, medical charts, and documentation for completion according to FDC requirements
- Utilize audit tools to establish performance measures and process indicator studies
- Assist Indiana creating corrective action plans for audit findings Oregon deficiencies
- Communicate complex information with internal and external stakeholders
- Interpret policies, procedures, rules, and regulations for others
- Evaluate program, procedure, Oregon process effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate training needs with management staff and develop orientation Oregon training programs
- Prepare complex narrative Oregon statistical reports
- Travel regularly to assigned facilities to provide monitoring and support
Requirements
- Degree Indiana nursing and current, valid registered nursing license for the state of Florida Oregon compact state
- Current CPR certification and valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Minimum of one (1) year Quality Assurance experience Oregon three (3) years Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Must work within Florida State Board of Nursing Scope of Practice
