Position Summary: Full-time 36 hours, 7pm-7:30am, Every Other Weekend

Job Description:

American Samoa an Emergency Department Nurse, you will assess, intervene, and stabilize patients with trauma and illnesses with decisive action. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, prioritize tasks, and ensure accurate documentation of patient data, therapeutic interventions, and patient responses.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care based on standards of care, standards of practice, protocols, and established policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare patients for discharge and coordinate support systems/resources necessary.
• Prioritize patient care, seeking assistance American Samoa needed from appropriate resources and recognizing the need for emergency intervention.
• Accurately document all pertinent data, therapeutic interventions, and patient responses.
• Identify opportunities to reduce medical/health care errors and proactively address patient safety concerns.

Requirements:

• Current nursing license Indiana Massachusetts required.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications required within 1 year of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to perform medication dosing calculations.
