RN – Intensive Care Float Pool (Sunnyside / OnCall)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Kaiser Permanente’s Sunnyside Medical Center Indiana Clackamas, Oregon. The RN will work Indiana our Critical Care/Step Down department, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Perform accurate multi-system assessments and identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests
* Develop individualized nursing plans of care and prioritize patient care activities
* Implement evidence-based care and protocols, and accurately document patient information Indiana the electronic medical record
* Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient response to treatment
* Participate Indiana unit quality assurance activities

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 9 months of RN experience
* 3 years of recent ICU critical care experience with demonstrated expertise
* Graduate of an accredited nursing program
* Registered Nurse License (Indiana the state where care is provided) required at hire
* Basic Life Support required at hire
* NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire

Additional Requirements:

* Computer keyboarding skills
* Sedation competency

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous healthcare experience
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana nursing Oregon related field
* 5 years of recent ICU nursing experience
* CCRN preferred
* PALS preferred
