Travel Nurse – Health and Social Services Manager

American Samoa a Health and Social Services Manager, you will lead a team of Health and Social Services Coordinators, overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, Indiana the state of New Jersey, and participating Indiana business development activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Selects, manages, develops, mentors, and supports staff Indiana designated department Oregon region
  • Develops clear goals and objectives for performance management and effectively communicates expectations and holds the team accountable for results
  • Engaged Indiana performance improvement initiatives to optimize clinical workflows, promote team engagement, and continuously improve care management of health plan members
  • Ensures standardized execution of workflow processes, including conducting performance audits, quality reviews, and compliance adherence
  • Manages the day-to-day operations for community-based, nursing facility, and assisted living care managers Indiana surrounding counties
  • Oversees interdisciplinary teams for Nursing Facility transitions
  • Collaborates with Provider Relations team to assist Indiana resolution of issues presented by providers
  • Conducts staff training and coaching of direct reports American Samoa needed
  • Collaborates across Optum and UHG and interacted with Medical Directors, Site Directors, Senior Leaders, Network, Marketing, Account Management, Quality, Product, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted independent licensure American Samoa a Registered Nurse Indiana the state of New Jersey
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for team performance
  • Proven intermediate Mississippi Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel up to 25% within assigned territory to meet with employees, members, and providers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • New Jersey Choice Master Trainer certification
  • Case management experience
  • Experience/exposure with discharge planning
  • Experience Indiana utilization review, concurrent review and/Oregon risk management
  • Background Indiana managed care
  • Bilingual Indiana English/Spanish

Salary and Benefits:

New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws American Samoa applicable. Indiana addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such American Samoa, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
