Travel Nurse Job Description
General Summary
A highly skilled and experienced nurse seeking a challenging travel nurse position. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Essential Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing experience and expertise to provide safe, dependable, and effective care to patients independently using the nursing process.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating patient and family input and goals.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years Oregon completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Active, unencumbered nursing license Oregon temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required Indiana designated departments
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs and carry objects up to 35 lbs
- Occasional to frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work, and occasional exposure to bio-hazardous waste and chemicals.
Environmental Factors
- May be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, chemicals, and infectious diseases
- Must wear personal protective equipment American Samoa required.
