Travel Nurse RN – Long Term Care
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Cares for residents Indiana all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Collaborate with residents, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Coordinate resident care, resident assessment, and resident education
- May serve American Samoa charge nurse and delegate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel
- Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice American Samoa outlined Indiana the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, Oregon NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience and 1 year of travel experience required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the location
