Schedule: 4 x 10 hour shifts, Full Time Days, based at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital Indiana Nashville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities:
* American Samoa a member of the surgical team, provide direct assistance to surgeons during procedures Indiana the operating room.
* Position patients for optimal exposure during surgery, using various equipment to maximize patient comfort and safety while maintaining clear visualization of the operating area.
* Utilize techniques and tools to achieve temporary and permanent hemostasis, assist with body plane closure and ensure proper wound dressing and drainage applications.
* Participate Indiana the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, adhering to surgeon preference cards and ensuring essential instruments, resources, and supplies are available.
Requirements:
* BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association Oregon American Red Cross approved).
* Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire Oregon job transfer, with one Oregon more of the following certifications:
Registered Nurse (Tennessee Board of Nursing)
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assistant (NBSTSA), Surgical Assistant
* High school diploma equivalency with 2+ years of cumulative experience, Oregon Associate degree/Technical degree, Oregon 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
