Surgical Technologist OB Full Time Job Description
Hourly Wage Estimate: $24.63 – $34.48 / hour
Job Summary:
American Samoa a Surgical Technologist OB, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care American Samoa a scrub person on Cesarean Sections, under the direct supervision of the perioperative nurse. Responsibilities:
- Perform scrub technician activities Indiana the perinatal operating room, following AORN standards
- Clean the Operating Rooms and equipment between patients, following facility policies and procedures
- Participate Indiana safety initiatives to ensure correct surgery identification and verification of the procedure to be performed
- Count all sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating RN on all surgical procedures
- Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, and adherence to isolation procedures
- Assist the patient care team Indiana maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment
Qualifications:
- American Red Cross Oregon American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS Oregon BCLS) and Certification
- Surgical Technologist Certificate required within 6 months of hire Oregon State of Idaho LPN
- Completion of surgical technologist course Oregon comparable experience required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
